(ps: you look gayer on TV than you do in real life. I can't explain this. ;-)

Yeah, I thought I sounded even gayer. I'm going to choose to believe that they put some audio filter that made me sound lispier.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!

CRAIG OMG OMG you were SO composed and intellectual, as usual. Yet you seem to be less biting and more approachable in person than one would think! Reminds me of myself in that respect, people absolutely HATE me online.

SQUEEEEEE OMG OMG OMG that's amazing!

Craig you didn't look or sound gayer; you sounded like an intelligent individual who was speaking up for his rights as a gay man. It was awesome to see you again. We are both movie stars now. I can't wait for the documentary to come out that is being made about the pain of leaving the church. Then you will be able to see me again too.

I am very impressed. You were friendly, but firm, and you didn't get overly emotional when questioned! I wouldn't have been able to do that. That was an important step in presenting ourselves to the Latter-day Saints.

Well done. You were a great spokesperson.

Well done Craig!

I love that guy at the end "We're part of a coalition of churches! Why are we being targeted" (Read: I thought that if we became part of this secret combination, we'd be able to manipulate californian's opinions without being held accountable!)

The issue is that the church has real power over it's members. If the pastor of your Catholic/Baptist/Unitarian, whatever church tells you to ban gay marriage, it's his opinion based on his interpretation of the bible--you'll have other congregations of the same church that don't preach out against it.

Mormons, however, are in a religion in which having an opinion that runs contrary to the prophet is sacrilege and can result in excommunication.

The church means a lot to a lot of people, and they are afraid of loosing it, or being seen as unfaithful. I know many Mormons at my ward in California, who expressed reservations and discomfort in private at this action, but followed the prophet because they didn't want to be "unfaithful"

Your beliefs are the most important of all. Personal revelation outweighs the prophet--Remember Nephi, being given permission to murder? That ran counter to the teachings, but he knew it was the right thing to do. I believe that applies for all of us. Be true to yourself and the God you believe in, first and foremost.

Great job Craig! Thanks for standing up and being such a great defender. You were awesome!

BTW, I had the same oh-my-god-i'm-so-gay reaction recently when i saw a clip of myself. How I got away with hiding it, I'll never know.
